Location: Home – You will work from your home and a slight possibility of travel.

The Senior Platform Owner (SPO) has the responsibility of managing product owners and business analysts in their business unit including performance management and professional development of their direct reports. The SPO will utilize their strong business skills and experience to manage their scrum team's intake of work, as well as prioritize delivery and maximize business value being delivered by their team.
The SPO will manage the product roadmap and represent the business stakeholders in the development and delivery of a major, multi-year software development project as well as manage a team who supports and maintains existing platform and applications. Will act as primary interface with the executives of their business unit, for all technology projects. The SPO will participate in Agile ceremonies with the development team and will be expected to use a high level of knowledge and experience in blending traditional project management principles and practices with an Agile development approach in the right proportions to fit large, complex, mission-critical, enterprise-level projects and small, high value, time-sensitive projects with the appropriate level of planning and provide the right balance of agility and predictability.

Technical Skills: (Helpful but NOT required)
- SCRUM & Agile - Strong experience leading Agile software development teams using SCRUM
- PMP, Certified ScrumMaster/Product Owner/Agilest
- Jira / Issue Trackers
- Confluence / Wikis
- P&C Insurance, Claims Administration, Subrogation
Education:
Qualifications Bachelor's degree required (Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field)
Strong preference for anyone with experience in P&C insurance
